The life of an entrepreneur can be unstable at first. But it takes a commitment and unwavering vision. I went from being a struggling musician working 2 jobs, 70+ hours/week, being 87 days behind on my mortgage, $2913 overdrawn in my bank account, and never having time to do what I wanted to a successful internet entrepreneur.
Did I get microwave results? No. It was a bumpy road. But as my first mentor and self-made multimillionaire told me, “The purpose of life is not to arrive carefully preserved in a well-packaged grave, but to slide in sideways, banged and bruised, yelling holy &#$@ what a ride!”
It has been worth every trial.
Ever since I was about 6 years old, I always knew that I would be a millionaire - I just didn’t know how it would happen. I had dreams of becoming rich so I could change the world.
At the time, I had the illusion that if I became rich enough, I could single-handedly pay off the federal deficit of $6 trillion, purchase all the land in the rain forests to prevent deforestation, and pay for all the starving people in Africa to have all the food and water that they needed.
Unfortunately, changing the world just didn’t turn out to be quite that simple. Regardless, I have not changed the essence of my vision of making the world a better place. The path I found was through entrepreneurship.
The beauty of becoming an entrepreneur is not just the financial freedom that anyone can achieve with enough dedication and training, but it is about the like-minded people you meet along the way.
“Attraction Marketing” is all about finding the people that resonate with you on a business, emotional, spiritual, or otherwise personal level.
And that’s really what I am here to do.
I am looking for like-minded people who do want to make a change in this world. The question always comes:
Now that you’ve made a million dollars, what are you going to do with your money?
After you’ve taken care of your dream house, your kid’s college education fund, paid off your parents’ debts, what is your next, bigger purpose?
Ask any of the leaders at the top what comes next, and they all inexplicably say:
“My new passion is helping others.”
Usually it comes in the form of creating resources and websites for the industry.
But, what about the rest of the world? What about creating resources for people who do not have access to entrepreneurial opportunities? What about putting arts back into schools? What about supporting your local humane society? What about funding environmentally-conscious organizations? What about… what about…
What about teaming up as an INDUSTRY-WIDE mastermind group and making a difference?
I am fortunate enough to be a part of an group of elite internet entrepreneurs who are on a mission to create a community of well-rounded, enlightened millionaires. At least 500 of them in fact. This means focusing on stewardship of our planet and philanthropy as the pinnacle of success.
